Each season the top ten international rugby union teams battle it out to see who really is number one and for the glory of being awarded the International 10N Champions winners package consisting of the winners certificate and 2 packets of Iced Vo-Vo's. Compared to the IRB Rugby World Cup, this is one world rugby championship where the cream always rises to the top.
Below are the current 2016 competition standings, please take the time to view our competition FAQ page to find out details of how the comp is structured and teams are ranked:
1 Adjusted points
differential is an adjusted figure based on a combination of for and against and
opponents ranking sums. Refer the FAQ page for more details. 2 Average adjusted differential = Adj points diff / Real world matches played 3 Simulated matches are
those which were not played during the calendar year and therefore must be
simulated. They are simulated by comparing each teams average adjusted
differential. Therefore results are subject to change
(and probably will) as further matches are played. 4 The combined number of
simulated wins and draws is limited to not exceed the number of real world
matches played by that nation (with sim wins allocated first) |
Real World Win - 5 points
Real World Draw - 3 points Real World Loss - 1 point Simulated win - 4 points Simulated Draw - 2 points Simulated Loss - 0 points Teams on equal points separated by their Average Adjusted Differentials. |
